SCRIP Coordinator
What is Scrip? Scrip is a program in which gift certificates are purchased at a discounted rate in order to raise money. At Faith Lutheran Church the money goes to impact events such as youth gathering, mission trips, and retreats. The company we purchase scrips through is Great Lake Scrip Center. www.glscrip.com.
Time Commitment: A few hours on Scrip order weeks; approximately 12 hours a month.
Job Duties: Gather Scrip orders from congregation members. Deposit checks into the CREDO checking account. Submit orders online to Great lakes Scrip. Distribute orders when they arrive. Coordinate with the Youth and Family Minister the accounting of the program. Communicate to the congregation when orders will be taken. Make copies and update the order form.
Job Qualifications: Good organizational skills. Ability to do simple accounting Good communication skills. Must be 21 or older Successful completion of a background check.
