College and Careers Coordinator
The Young Adult Group consists of post-high school youth ages 18 to 25. The youth in this group are spread out over the country. Currently they do not have regularly scheduled meetings.
Time Commitment: At least one year (10 to 12 hours per month)
Job Duties: Work with the Youth and Family Minister to recruit adults to be adult mentors. Work with the Youth and Family Minister and adult mentors to plan activities for young adults. Helps coordinate a Young Adult Bible Study/Sunday school Helps recruit young adults to participate in worship when they are home over Christmas Break and the summer.
Qualifications: Available, Authentic, and Affirming Faith focused and centered in God Interest in youth and youth culture Good listening skills and attentiveness to youth Open to developing relationships with youth Must be 21 years of age or older Punctual Successful completion of a background check
Responsible for Supervising: The adult mentors and the youth
