Travel Club Coordinator
What is the Travel Club? The Travel Club is a summer field trip activity for youth who have completed 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade. Each week for a 4 or 5 week period, youth are taken to a different destination around the St. Louis area. At each location the group does a fun activity then has a devotion that relates to the place.
Time Commitment: A few hours for planning the events, and one afternoon for 4 or 5 weeks in the summer.
Job Duties: Coordinate with the Youth and Family Minister the “itinerary” for the 345 Travel Club. Help to plan and lead devotions. Drive youth to the destination. Recruit other adults to help drive and chaperone. Collect money and permission slips from youth attending the event.
Job Qualifications: Available, Authentic, and Affirming Faith focused and centered in God Interest in youth and youth culture Good listening skills and attentiveness to youth Open to developing relationships with youth Must be 21 years of age or older Punctual Successful completion of a background check
