Family Activity Group Coordinator
The Kindergarten through fifth grade youth meet once a month for age appropriate activities which may include fun, fellowship activities and servant events.
Time Commitment: At least one year (10 to 12 hours per month)
Job Duties: Works with the Youth and Family Minister to recruit parents and adults to assist with the monthly events. Works with the Youth and Family Minister and the monthly adult helper to plan the monthly event. Attends the Monthly Event Helps clean up after the event Attends the Youth Board meetings which are once a month and last one to two hours. Attends the Annual Youth Ministry Support Team Meeting (usually in August)
Qualifications: Available, Authentic, and Affirming Faith focused and centered in God Interest in youth and youth culture Good listening skills and attentiveness to youth Open to developing relationships with youth Must be 21 years of age or older Punctual Successful completion of a background check
Responsible for Supervising: The Monthly Event Helper and the youth
