Every Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. — Jr. High Night at the Youth House — 6th, 7th and 8th grade youth are invited to come to the Youth House for fun and fellowship.  Bring a friend and a snack if you like.  Talk Time which is a opportunity to share high’s and low’s and discuss a Bible verse starts at 6:15.  From 6:45 to 7:45 we play fun group games.

 

Every Wednesday, 6 to 8:30 p.m. — Real Time.  High school youth are invited to come to the Youth House for fun and fellowship.  Bring a friend and a snack if you like.  Talk Time which is a opportunity to share high’s and low’s and discuss a Bible verse starts at 6:30.  From 7 to 8 we play fun group games.  (6 to 6:30, and 8 to 8:30 is free time to hang out.)

 

Every Thursday, 3 to 4:45 p.m. — Games Day.  High School youth are invited to come to the Martin Luther Library after school to play games with Kimberly.  Parents must complete this form and youth must return it to Kimberly the first Games Day they attend.  Canceled on any Thursday that school is not in session.

 

CREDO Meetings the first Sunday of the month during Sunday School Time. — All high school youth are invited and encouraged to participate in planning CREDO activities.  Please bring your activity calendars so we can plan the CREDO activities around your other schedules (well, as much as possible).

 

August 26, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Confirmation Low Ropes

 

August 28, 2007, 7:00 p.m. — Youth and Family Ministry Board Meeting — At the Youth House.

 

September 16, Noon to 3 p.m. Youth and Family Games at the Polka Fest — Come join Faith for carnival and competitive fun games at the Polkafest.

 

September 25, 2007, 7:00 p.m. — Youth and Family Ministry Board Meeting — At the Youth House.

 

October 5 & 6 — Revolve Tour — For 6th through 12th grade girls.  See the church bulletin for more details.

 

October 6, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — K-5 Family Event (Everyone welcome!) — Jumpin' Pumpkin Jamboree (Belleville)Ride the wagons out to the pumpkin patch to search for your great pumpkin. Our pumpkins range from a couple of pounds to more than 150 pounds so we are sure to have the perfect jack-o-lantern for you! Wagon rides, country music, live entertainment, pony rides, make-your-own scarecrow, funnel cakes and festival foods make this a fun-filled weekend for everyone! Children's activities. Petting farm.  Bring your lawn chairs and money to participate in activities.  Look for Judy Clark or Kimberly for our “reserved” picnic area.  This should be a really fun day at the farm!

November 27, 2007, 7:00 p.m. — Youth and Family Ministry Board Meeting — At the Youth House.

 

December ???, CREDO Movie Night in the Fellowship Hall

 

January 18-20 — St. Louis Youth Quake — For 6th, 7th and 8th grade youth.  This is a weekend retreat at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Clayton with Captive Free and Agape providing music, Rev. Bill Yonker as the main speaker, treks that are tons of fun, and much more.  The cost is $140 per youth which includes the cost of the retreat, hotel, pizza on Saturday night, snacks and beverages (including milk and juice for breakfast).  Youth are asked to bring what breakfast foods they like to eat (such as bagels, cereal, muffins, etc.) a sack lunch for Saturday, $5 for lunch on the way home on Sunday, and offering and souvenir money.  Registration deadline is Sunday September 30.  Registration forms will be available on the Youth Bulletin Board by the beginning of August.

 

January 25-27 — YRU High School Retreat — All high school youth are invited to participate in this weekend retreat that includes awesome music, amazing speakers, really cool workshops and fun with friends new and old!  Save the dates now — more information will be available shortly.

 

February ???, CREDO Bowling

 

March 7 & 8, 2008 — Be Like Jesus Servant Event — For 3rd through 6th grade youth and high school leaders, this is a fun, over-night servant event.  Participate with local churches to do projects such as purchasing items for a dog kennel, Lutheran Child and Family Services, books for LSSI storybook project.  We will go to the local grocery stores for food gleaning, make fleece blankets, and some other cool activities.  The cost is $35 per person and the registration deadline is January 27.  Please contact Kimberly for more details.

 

April ???, CREDO City Museum

 

May 14, 6:00 to 8:30, Senior Sending — High schoolers celebrate those who are graduating by participating is some awesome and messy games.  Please wear clothes that can get REALLY messy, and bring a towel and change of clothes!  8th grade youth are invited to participate in this event.

 

June 8-14 — CREDO Mystery Mission Trip in Tennessee
